Vinent Valentine
The hero of our story. Vincent was once a Turk in the ShinRa organization. His intelligance and superior marksmanship made him a force to be reckoned with, and cuased respect amongst his peers out of this elite group.
While on assignment in Nibelhiem, he mysteriously disappeared, only to resurfice almost 30 years later in order to help Cloud and co. destroy Sephiroth, the entire time lamenting the loss of his dear Lucrecia, a ShinRa scientist he fell in love with before his disappearance. Now, he has been faced with the choice of rejoining the Turks. Will he accept the offer or decline it?

Chaos
Vincent's inner demon and a constant thorn in his side. Chaos has a problem with Vincent, and likes to torture and mentally abuse the poor fellow. He also has a serious case of bloodlust, and will not hesitate to take over Vincent's body in order to kill.

Tifa Lockheart
One of Cloud's group, and owner of the bar Seventh Heaven, where Vincent has been residing since the Meteor incident. She's become rather close to Vincent, and considers him a good friend. She cares for him, and worries about and supports him when no one else will.

Cloud Strife.
The hero of Midgar and savior of the world, Cloud has settled down a bit since the Meteor incident. No longer quite the headstrong youth he had been, he lives at Seventh Heaven with Tifa and Vincent. He abhors the new Turks and their leader Tseng, remembering what they once used to uphold, and can't stand the thought of his friend becoming one, though he isn't as close with Vincent as Tifa.

Tseng

The leader and founder of the new Turks organization. He oversees the missions that all of the Turks go on, and partners them up should the need arise. He is the one that personally goes to recruit Vincent again after hearing of some interesting information that he may want to hear.

Reno

One of the Turks. He's the knucklehead of the group, constantly making trouble for Tseng. The man has a special mission in store for Reno, just so he can get the red-head out of his hair.

Okihema

A mysterious girl who breeds and raises Chocobos. She is an old aquatance of Tseng's and looks astonishingly like Sephiroth.

Red XIII

The animalistic member of Cloud's party that lives in Cosmo Canyon. He is very wise, and may be of help to Vincent during his journey.

Cid Highwind
The mechanic of Cloud's ensemble and the pilot/owner of the airship the Highwind. Cid may or may not be of great help to Vincent over the course of his journey, it all depends on how crude the blonde mechanic is feeling on that day.

Yuffie
The ninja thief from the village of Wutai. Thought to be more or less annoying by other members of the group, Yuffie is often seen as the last resort for advice... or anything...

Lucrecia
Vincent's love interest from when he was young. She was a scientist on the Jenova project, one of which he was sent to guard. It is clear that he loved her... but her feelings for him aren't as clear.

Sephiroth
The "One Winged Angel", Lucrecia's son, and the man who nearly destroyed the world with the power of the Black Materia and Jenova. He is nothing but a memory now... or is he?
